Became an expert in enterprise data network architecture for multiple clients and employers. Previous Project Highlights:

l         Bell Joint Network Lab:. Define SDN and legacy network communication and inter-SDN communication (ACI/NSX/Neutron) scope. Multi-Tenancy Multi-Cloud design, vRealize cloud, Cisco CECS UCSD cloud and Openstack Ubuntu distribution. NFV cloud integration and automation design, F5 LTM LBaaS, Checkpoint vSEC SaaS, EMC Avamar Baas etc.

l         Bell Mobility IMS Trial: Multi-Vendor End to End inter-communication solution design, including transport layer (MGW, IPGW etc.); Session and control layer (CSCF, HSS etc.); Application layer (AS, TAS, SSF etc.).

l         Bell Mobility LTE Trial EPC: Led comprehensive evolved packet core design. Managed the project life cycle including RFI/RFP document creation, RFx response review and evaluation, vendor selection. Overall EPC architecture development. UAT/FAT plan and functional document creation, budget/costing management. Completed architecture design to housing 4 vendors at the same time: including independent multilayer network for 6 MME/SAE and 6 SGWs and PGWs, 2 HSS, eNBs backhaul over MPLS IPVPN, NNI for inter-carrier MOCN

l         Bell Mobility UMTS Trial: Completed multilayer network design for multi vendors’ Circuit Core and Packet Core elements, including control plan and user plane for multiple MSS, MGW, SGSN, Flex ISN (GGSN), RNC and HLRs

l         Bell Wireless Technology Innovation Center: Led group of teams built the Bell Wireless Technology LAB (Innovation Center) from scratch! Designed multitier, yet easy to manage and scalable data center architecture by using the available cutting edge technologies. Define the LAB scope, infrastructure, policies, procedures and technologies to be used for overall Bell wireless technology projects. This innovation center is currently housing more than 500 application servers and multiple core networks of LTE, HSPA and CDMA which are being used by Bell wireless team to evaluate various mobile services.

l         Bell Mobility West Region Expansion: Involved in architecture design, and led engineering team built Bell wireless data network in British Colombia and Alberta from scratch! Successfully extend Canada’s first 1xRTT EVDO 3G footprint to western Canada.
